Uwe became a Engineer of Network Technology in 1992 started in the Business in Novell Environments in 1993. Before he was an untrained Admin for the University Netware 2.15 and 3.11 Network. In 1997 he became a CNI. Uwe is currently certified as multiple MCNE and MCNI. He started to work with GroupWise in the early 1994. In 2000 he wrote an admin guide for GW6.0 in German language. He is a speaker on several Novell congresses in Germany. He was awarded to speak at BrainShare Salt Lake City in 2001.

Ulrich's first contact with GroupWise was in the days of WordPerfect Office 3.1. He has seen all versions since these days, he has implemented many GroupWise systems and he has been developing to GroupWise since 1998. Ulrich is also a Novell SysOp and works very closely with some engineering groups in Provo. He has written several articles for Novell Appnotes in the past.

Ulrich is the brain behind Redline, a Monitoring, Reporting, Alerting solution for GroupWise. He's one of the founders of "GroupWise & Friends", the German GroupWise user Group and is currently in the position as the president of G&F. Ulrich is also an "open source evangelist" who pushed open source on NetWare very hard; he has been involved in PostgreSQL and MySQL development and ported the first version of Bash to NetWare. On NetWare he has worked a lot on LibC. He's working with Linux since 1994 and is involved in the GNOME Project, especially on GNOME-Network and the Evolution mail client that can connect to GroupWise now.

Ulrich has been Speaker at BrainShare in Europe and SLC. In 2001 and 2003 he has got the official "Developer SysOp Excellence Award" from Novell for all his efforts. Raymond has been working in software development for more than 10 years. The last five years he has been focussing on developing extensions for GroupWise, so he is a real long time expert in GroupWise development and one of the early adopter of its SOAP API, pioneering the development of GWAVA Retain using the newest features of GroupWise 7 and 8. Raymond is the main developer for Retain, which is the archiving solution from GWAVA. Retain includes all latest archiving technology including the stubbing features, which will be available with the next GroupWise version 8.

As BrainStorm’s Lead Trainer, David Grimsman has spent the last three years training thousands of users on GWAVA and Novell GroupWise. David’s responsibilities at BrainStorm include both delivering training as well as contributing his expertise to curriculum and product development. Such activity, combined with his regular interactions with both end-users and trainers, gives David unique perspective into the powerful features and application of both GWAVA and GroupWise.
