Bob Flynn, Novell

Bob Flynn oversees day-to-day operations for the Attachmate and Novell business units. His role comprises product development, management, and marketing, as well as technical support, sales, and sales operations. He is responsible for the overall goals, strategies, and decision making that impact business-unit financial results, employee morale, and customer satisfaction.
Bob joined Attachmate in 1998 following a 17-year career with IBM in numerous management and executive positions, specializing in service and support for large enterprise environments. At IBM, he led global multi-million-dollar consulting engagements at Fortune 100 companies, directed and redefined key internal IBM processes, and managed a region-wide $500 million services division.
He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Oregon State University.
Ken Muir, GWAVA

CEO
As Chief Executive Officer and CTO, Ken Muir drives the strategy, vision and execution of GWAVA's business. His expertise comes from over 15 years in the enterprise collaboration, security and systems management market. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Utah where he serves as an industry advisor to the College of Engineering. He is also a PLD graduate of Harvard Business School.
Tom Fitzpatrick, Kaspersky Lab

Director of Buisness Marketing
Tom Fitzpatrick brings almost 20 year of IT sales and marketing experience to Kaspersky. Tom has served as an IT reseller, distributor and a vendor in multiple areas of sales and management. He leads the Americas Business Marketing team and is responsible for sharing the Kaspersky story to our partners and customers. Prior to joining Kaspersky, Mr. Fitzpatrick served in a variety of IT channel management roles for Raritan KVM, Panasonic Toughbooks, Corel/Wordperfect and Tech Data Corporation. He holds an MBA from the University of South Florida.

David is a veteran security professional with over 15 year’s experience. Proficient in conducting Penetration testing, Computer Forensics of multiple operating systems, Web application security testing and Wireless testing. With extensive experience in SUSE Linux, Novell Access Manager, eDirectory, GroupWise, Microsoft AD,as well as various products from other vendors. His strengths lies in Security testing, Forensics and Policy Review. Gus Hytonen joined GroupLink in 2007 and since that time he has become a Senior Account Manager specializing in help desk/service desk solutions. Gus graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor's degree in Sales. Gus resides in South Weber, Utah, USA with his wife and two sons.

Marketing Manager
Que Mangus has been with GroupLink for over four years and leads all marketing and partner relations for the company. He has extensive knowledge of GroupLink's products everything HelpDesk and ContactWise CRM and received ITIL version 3 Foundation Certification in 2010. Que graduated from Utah Valley University located in Orem, UT, USA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Que currently resides in West Jordan, UT, USA, with his wife Brittany and son Liam.
Lawrence Kearney

System Specialist and Service Analyst
Lawrence Kearney works for Georgia Health Sciences University as a System Support Specialist and Service Analyst. He previously worked in the business sector in New York.
Lawrence has experience with many Novell and SUSE Linux solutions. He regularly presents on SMTP infrastructure design, publishes articles on enterprise class GroupWise implementations and co-authored the GroupWise 8 Best Practice Wiki.
Allan Hurst, KIS

Director of Enterprise Strategy
Allan is well-known in the Novell community. He has worked with NetWare since 1988, and is the founder and president of two Novell Users International chapters in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a partner and the Director of Enterprise Strategy at KIS (Keep IT Simple), a Novell Platinum partner headquartered in Fremont, California, with offices in Kansas City, Cleveland, Denver, and New Jersey. Allan is also KIS' DNS and email retention practices manager.

David G. Przybyla is an accomplished entrepreneur and motivational speaker. He has held a variety of management and hiring manager positions at multiple industry-leading companies. At GWAVA, David is responsible for launching new products and managing product marketing. He has taught various skill development courses for over two years at Provo College and is currently on the advisory board for the technical college, Stevens Henegar. He is an active member of numerous professional associations, such as IEEE, ITS, ACTFL, and CALICO, among others, and uses this experience when training clients.
Colin Bretagne, GWAVA

Senior Engineer & Quality Analyst
Colin Bretagne is a Senior Engineer and Quality Assurance Analyst for GWAVA in Montreal. He has more than 20 years active experience in the computer industry. Before joining GWAVA, Colin implemented systems in over 15 countries for companies like TTPCom and Motorola for various solutions from Novell to Microsoft and large SANs. He has extensive experience in hardware and software including Novell clustering, HP SANs, NetWare, GroupWise, BorderManager, Microsoft Exchange and BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Colin has been involved with GWAVA and GWAVA-related products since 2003 and has implemented GWAVA solutions in very large environments (35000+ users).He is a GWAVA Certified Engineer, Certified Novell Engineer, Compaq A.S.E. and has a BSC in Computer Science. His extensive hands-on experience has made his transition into QA a perfect fit for GWAVA.
Tay Kratzer, GWAVA

Reload Developer
Tay Kratzer is the lead developer of GWAVA Reload and GWReports, a Snapin to GWAVA Reload. Tay worked for several years at Novell in the Novell Premium Service Division as a Primary Support Engineer for some of Novell's larger GroupWise customer sites. Tay is the author and co-author of 8 GroupWise-related books. Tay Kratzer has supported Novell GroupWise since 1993 and he is a Novell Master CNE. In the year 2000, Tay was recipient of the highest recognition award from Software Support Professional Association.
Kari Woolf, Novell

Senior Product Marketing Manager
Kari Woolf is a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Novell. She has been with the company for more than 13 years in a variety of marketing and communications capacities. She became the GroupWise Product Marketing Manager in May of this year. Prior to this role, she managed internal and external communications for Novell End-User Computing products and solutions. She has also served as an account manager and content director for a creative agency specializing in live events. Prior to beginning her career in high tech, she worked for a congressional organization in Washington, D.C. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University.
Dean Lythgoe, Novell

Director of GroupWise Engineering
Dean Lythgoe is the Director of GroupWise Engineering. He has been writing/managing enterprise software for 17 years, most recently managing development of the GroupWise clients, including Windows, Linux and Mac. He has also managed the administration team, which produces the ConsoleOne plug-ins for GroupWise. Dean teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Business, Computer Science and Information Technology programs at the University of Phoenix. He holds a Masters degree in Business/Technology Management and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
Paul Lamontagne, Novell

ATT Engineer
At Novell since January 2008, Subject Matter Expert responsible for GroupWise and Teaming + Conferencing. Working with Novell products since 1990, worked as a Lan Administrator, then Consultant for Public Accounting firms. Worked as a Lan Administrator for a electronic distributor. Also worked as a Consultant dealing with all of Novell's Product Lines, NetWare, GroupWise, ZENworks. Started Training as a substitute teacher, teaching basic computer skills. Paul took formal Novell Training to become a CNE, while taking courses was asked if he would be interested in teaching Novell Courses since he had demonstrated prior knowledge of Novell NetWare. Paul received both CNE and CNI May 6th, 1996.
Paul worked for a training center for almost 2 years and then became a contract instructor and consultant working in Canada, United States and occasionally Europe, until accepting position with Novell Training Service.
Karyn Victory, Novell

Senior Technical Specialist
Karyn has been with Novell for 3 years as a systems engineer, working with the Workgroup and Open Source products, specializing in GroupWise and Teaming + Conferencing. Prior to joining the team, Karyn was a consultant for 10 years, focusing on technologies for small to enterprise customers. In addition to being passionate about collaboration, Karyn enjoys outside activities and spending time with her husband, David and daughter, Alyssa and is very involved with the American Diabetes Association.
Charles Gonzalez, Novell
Technology Sales Specialist
Charles Gonzales is from Houston, Texas and is a Novell Technology Sales Specialist covering our Workgroup Solutions. Charles has been primarily a technical specialist for Novell for over 13 years, but has also spent time in Sales and in Partner roles. Over that time he has represented all of Novell's products, but in the last several years has focused on Novell's Collaboration Products
Brian Six, Novell

Senior Technology Specialist
Brian is currently a Senior Technology Specialist with them and has a focus on the End User Computer solutions. This includes the ZENWorks suite of products as well as traditional solutions such as OES, GroupWise, and now Teaming + Conferencing. With over 12 years of experience and 8 years prior plus a B.S. in C.S., Brian brings a wealth of knowledge to GWAVACon. After serving with Novell in the Washington D.C. area for 3 years Brian now resides in Southern California continuing to wave the Red flag.
Tracy Smith, Novell

Product Manager for Teaming
Tracy is the Product Manager for Teaming. He has been with them for over 18 years. Previous responsibilities include; Program Manager for Premium Service, Technical Subscriptions and LogicSource. He has also managed the support web site, support forums, Subscriber Portal and support programs in Europe and North America.
Mark Schouls, Novell

Senior Product Manager
Mark is a Senior Product Manager for Novell, covering the ZENworks product family in the Systems and Resource Management Business Unit. Prior to joining Product Management, Mark held the position of Practice Lead for Novell Consulting's North American ZENworks Practice, and is responsible for some of the largest and most complex implementations of ZENworks in the United States and Canada.
Matt Ray MC Consulting

Matt Ray is the owner of MC Consulting, a GroupWise Consulting firm. He has been working with GroupWise since Office days and was on the original WordPerfect SWAT team in '93, a specialized team that helped large WP customers install Office 3.1. He worked as a Premium Support Engineer and Consultant at WordPerfect/Novell for 13 years. He now owns and runs his own company, MC Consulting - GroupWiseGuru.com, that does nothing but GroupWise Consulting for customers around the globe.
Paul DePond, Notify Technology

Paul F. DePond, founder of Notify Technology, has served as its President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors since the Company's inception in August 1994. From September 1992 through May 1994, Mr. DePond served as Vice President Corporate Marketing of Telebit Corporation, a supplier of high-speed modems and dialup remote access products. From January 1991 through September 1992, Mr. DePond served as Vice President, Marketing, of Alantec Corporation, a manufacturer of networking products. Mr. DePond received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering in 1979, and an M.A. in Computer Science in 1980, each from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.

Christian Karch is a member of the SKyPRO Team since 2005. He communicates for SKyPRO with partners like Novell, GroupWise and friends, Inetra, GWAVA, GUG, Open Horizons and more since the beginning of the development of SKyCOM. Christian is responsible for the Marketing of SKyPRO and especially for SKyCOM. He will represent SKyPRO in it's first office in the USA, located in Silicon Valley beginning 2009.
Daniel Shelly, Ghost Pattern Software

Daniel Shelley started Ghost Pattern Software in 2009 focusing onr mobile solutions for GroupWise. Prior to that he worked for ten years at Novell as a developer and as a product manager. Daniel has a BS in Computer Science from BrighamYoung University.
Gil Cattelain, Matrix42

Product Marketing
Product Marketing at Matrix42 -- Gil has more than 15 years of experience in software marketing for the high-tech industry, including recent time at Novell Inc. where he specialized in product marketing for the endpoint management product line. His expertise includes international product marketing and product management at Folio Corporation, Open Market Inc., PowerQuest Corporation and Netopia Inc. He has also held positions as international public relations manager and channel marketing manager. Gil holds a B.A. in international marketing and political science and is fluent in French.
Teresa Cole, DigeTeks

Director of Hosting Services
With more than seventeen years' experience in the technology field, Teresa Cole is the Director of Hosted Services at DigeTekS, LLC in Colorado. Having spent the majority of her career on "the other side of the desk" within the IT department of a large Colorado school district, as an engineer and then Director of IT, Teresa has a great deal of hands-on experience with managing and supporting critical network and mail systems for very large environments. She joined the team at DigeTekS the goal of building upon and managing their existing hosted services practice. The hosted services offered by DigeTekS include Novell GroupWise E-Mail, E-Mail Security and Archiving solutions, and remote Backup. Through a long-term Platinum partnership with Novell, DigeTekS is one of only a few partners in the United States to offer a hosted GroupWise service. Teresa has been instrumental in working with our clients, Novell personnel, and the technical team on staff with DigeTekS to promote and implement this solution set successfully across the country. Holding a degree in Computer Information Systems, she is an acting engineer with strong technical skills and a background of managing technical teams. Her blend of knowledge, experience and management has helped her grow the hosting platform, and implement solid, repeatable business practices to ensure that clients have secure, effective and efficient solutions when they opt to have various services, such as GroupWise E-Mail, hosted by DigeTekS.

Dan Jackobs, Systems Engineer Kaspersky Lab

Dan has been in the Information Technology field for nearly 14 years with the last 10 years spent in the Security area, most notably with two of the leading anti-malware vendors. Dan is involved with a wide array of customers, from SMB to Fortune 500 accounts, delivering post and pre-sales support in relation to their security and ensuring their corporate infrastructures are free of malware and security risks. Working at Kaspersky as a Systems Engineer, he is responsible for delivering pre-sales technical demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to illustrate the strength of Kaspersky’s security components.

Glen Davis, Product Manger Novell

Glen Davis is the Product Manger for Open Enterprise Server, Business Continuity Clustering, and NOWS Small Business Suite. Glen has worked in Engineering and Product Management with Novell for 12 years in the File and Networking Services division, and holds an M.B.A. and Bachelors degree in Information Systems from the Marriott School of Management.
Doyle Collings, Sales Engineer Novell

Doyle Collings has been with Novell for over 4 years as a Sales and Support Engineer. In his present role, he assists in all stages of the sales process from needs identification to services delivery and customer satisfaction assurance. His 16 years of I.T. experience includes service as the Network Administrator for Logan City, Systems Engineer for CompuCom, and full time faculty for the College of Eastern Utah. He holds a B.S. in Management from Brigham Young University and M.S. from Utah State University in Business Information Systems and Education.
Brent D. Schmidt, Senior Network Engineer KIS

Brent joined KIS in June 1996, and has over 17 years network design and deployment experience. He has an extensive background in end-user network management which has led him to specialize in iPrint, iFolder, ZENworks and user security. He is one of the Primary Engineers for high-level ZENworks, NetWare, GroupWise, OES and VMware deployments, upgrades, and migrations. Brent has developed and deployed solutions for customer in government, educations, health care, and private corporations throughout the United States.
Brent is a VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Comp TIA Network + Certified, Certified Novell Engineer and Administrator (CNE/CNA), a Novell Certified Linux Professional (NCLP), Linux Technical Specialist (NLTS), and Certified Novell ZENworks Administrator (CNZA).
