Ron van Herk Novell - Worldwide Support Engineer

Ron van Herk

Ron is one of the Worldwide Support Engineers dedicated to support ZENworks, he is working out of the Novell European Services Center in the Netherlands. As a Worldwide Support Engineer he is the interface between the Support organization and the ZENworks engineering teams. With a special interest for ZENworks Server Management he has been dedicated to supporting ZENworks over the last 5 years. Ron is blogging on Novell Cool Blogs (www.novell.com/coolblogs), and has presented several sessions at BrainShare and Brainstorme.

Laurence Pitt Novell Consulting, UK - Resource Management Solution Leader

I have been working with Novell products since the late 1980's and have experience as an engineer, trainer, suppport engineer and consultant for various resellers, end-users and distributors.

Since 1999 I have worked for Novell Consulting in the UK and am currently the Resource Management Solution Lead for the UK and a Resource Management Community of Practice Leader. I am based in Bracknell, England.

Mark Schouls Novell - ZENworks Product Manager and Product Evangelist

Mark has been working for Novell for almost seven years now, and is a ZENworks Product Manager and Product Evangelist. Prior to joining the Product Management group Mark was the Practice Lead and Principal Architect for Novell Consulting's ZENworks Practice in North America. Mark has designed and implemented some of the largest and most complex ZENworks infrastructures in North America, including some of the first in a pure Microsoft Windows environment. Mark is a regular contributor to the Novell Cool Blogs (www.novell.com/coolblogs), and speaks at many conferences and events including BrainShare, LinuxWorld, Advisor Media ZENworks Summit, BrainStormer, and many others.

Martin Buckley Novell ZENworks - Director of Product Management

Martin Buckley

In the past year Martin has been responsible for the strategy and direction for Novell ZENworks - including the acquisition and release of ZENworks Asset Management; the release of ZENworks 7 Suite and the revolutionary ZENworks 7 Linux Management. Prior to this Martin held the role of Product Manager for ZENworks Linux Management and Product Manager responsible for ZENworks for Desktops.

He is currently based at Novell in Utah and spends a significant amount of time working directly with customers, integrators and partners.

Before becoming Product Manager, Martin was a pre-sales consultant with Novell UK. Prior to joining Novell, Martin headed a Desktop Management consulting team; specializing in all aspects of Windows workstation management using many vendors solutions.

Martin is often known as the Evil ZEN Scientist.

Sam Tessier Novell - ZENworks Technical Specialist

Sam Tessier

Sam has been with Novell for seven years, and is based in the New York City area. His primary focus is on preaching the doctrine of ZENworks to clients and partners/integrators and engaging in competitive situations. Prior to his current role, Sam worked with Novell's internal IT group managing server operations for Novell's field offices in North and South America.

Ian Aitchison

Ian Aitchison

Ian Aitchison is a Product Manager at Touchpaper software, with over 10 years of experience in the design, development and implementation of IT Business Management solutions. As manager of Touchpaper's Novell- Integration product set Ian has presented frequently and globally to Novell staff and customers on the unique benefits of combining the two product sets. Before joining Touchpaper Ian worked for Surrey Police and prior to that was a licensee and nightclub manager. In his spare time he juggles home improvement, with spending time with his wife and two young children.
