Patti Brooks - GroupWise Quality Assurance Engineer
Patti has worked with GroupWise and its predecessor, WordPerfect Office, for 15 years. She is on the GroupWise testing team, specializing in the Post Office Agent. Patti holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
John Dragoon Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer
John Dragoon serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Dragoon brings over 22 years of high technology operations experience to his role, and is responsible for all aspects of their strategy and activities worldwide, including corporate,field, partner and channel, industry and marketing operations functions. He was most recently vice president of worldwide field for them, Mr. Dragoon is a member of Worldwide Management Committee. Prior to joining them, Dragoon was the senior vice president of marketing and product management at Art Technology Group where he was responsible for all aspects of ATG's product plans and strategy, product and corporate marketing. Before ATG, Dragoon spent more than 16 years at IBM, where he held a number of sales positions, including director of marketing, IBM Supply Chain Management Solutions. After IBM, Dragoon served as vice president, operations, Internet Capital Group, where he was on the board of nine partner companies providing guidance on strategy, marketing, business development, financing, and product development. Dragoon holds an MBA from Cornell University and a bachelor of science in computer science and economics from Union College.
Alan Hall Product Marketing Manager Workgroup Product Marketing, Novell
Alan Hall has been with the for five years and is the Product Manager for Open Enterpriser Server and Open Workgroup Suite. Prior to joining them, Mr. Hall served as Director for Active Trading at online broker, Ameritrade, Inc. He has also held positions for various high-tech companies and has over 12 years experience in high-tech international marketing and sales. Mr. Hall has a BS in International Marketing from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Utah State University.
Phil Karren Novell - GroupWise Product Manager
Phil Karren currently works as GroupWise Product Manager for them. My background on a short form is that I've worked for 21 years in IT and development, for them, IBM, CacheFlow as an employee, and for several clients as a freelancer, including Linux Networx, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Church and Family History Department, Cisco, and others.
Gregory Webb Novell, Product Marketing Manager
Gregory Webb has been with them for four years and is the Product Marketing Manager for GroupWise and other collaboration products. Prior to this position, Gregory worked in corporate and was responsible for Workgroup and Identity products and solutions on www.novell.com. Gregory holds a doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in languages and literature.
