Ken Muir - USA
Novell - The Director of Engineering for GroupWise
Ken Muir is the Director of Engineering at Novell for
GroupWise. Ken joined Novell in 1995 after graduating
with honors from the University of Utah with degrees in
both Electrical and Computer Engineering. As an Engineer,
Ken worked on AppWare, NWAdmin, ConsoleOne and other various
eDir management utilities. In 1997 he joined the ZENworks
team where he became a lead engineer on the ZENworks for
Servers product. In 2001 Ken joined the ZENworks management
team running the ZENworks for Servers product and then
as a Senior Manager working with additional components
of ZENworks including leading the release of ZENworks
Linux Management 7. In July of 2005, Ken was thrilled
to have the opportunity to work with the GroupWise team
as the new Director of Engineering. His responsibilities
include all areas of development, testing and maintenance
of GroupWise. |

Morris Blackham - USA
Novell - CPR Manager for GroupWise
Morris has been supporting GroupWise since 1990 where
he started with WordPerfect Corporation as a member of
the WordPerfect Office SWAT team. He has worked
in a variety of capacities at Novell as a product manager
and support technician. He also worked extensively supporting
Novell's largest customers with Teltrust.com, the GroupWise
consulting company. He is currently the CPR Manager for
Novell GroupWise. |

Novell - GroupWise Product Manager
Phil Karren currently works as GroupWise Product Manager
for Novell. My background on a short form is that I've
worked for 21 years in IT marketing and development, for
Novell, IBM, CacheFlow as an employee, and for several
clients as a freelancer, including Linux Networx, The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Church and
Family History Department, Cisco, Novell and others.

Charles Taite - Canada
GWAVA - CEO/CTO Co-Founder of GWAVA
Charles Taite steers GWAVA's technology vision. He is
the former CTO for Tobit Software of North America where
he was instrumental in helping Tobit establish its technology
roadmap for entering the North American market. He guides
GWAVA's research and product development efforts, while
overseeing GWAVA's technical services and support division.
His expertise comes from a 15-year career in the networking
industry, specializing in secure electronic messaging.

Richard Bliss - USA
GWAVA - VP of Marketing GWAVA
Richard Bliss has been actively involved in the messaging
industry since 1989. Prior to joining GWAVA, Richard was
the Director of Marketing for Novell GroupWise, a position
in which he was responsible for communicating Novell's
vision for its GroupWise and collaboration products. He
has been the VP of Marketing for companies such as Allegro
(mail.com)-a leading U.S. provider of corporate e-mail
management solutions-and Sigaba, an email security company.
He has written numerous articles and spoken at a host
of seminars, conferences and conventions on messaging,
outsourcing and e-mail security. He has also appeared
in numerous magazine interviews as well as appearing on
CNN. |

Diethmar Rimser - Austria GroupWise - President of the GroupWise&Friends Austria
Diethmar has been working with NetWare V4.6 which was
running on a Motorola 68000 Diethmar Rimser reveals his
long relationship with Novell products (1985). Since 1994
he was teaching NetWare, NMS (predecessor of ManageWise
and ZEN for Servers), Networking Technologies. In 1995
Diethmar started to teach Microsoft NT Workstation and
Server (it is always good to know both sides). In 1996
Diethmar put his fingers on GroupWise 5 - and he had to
stop teaching any other products because of the success
of GroupWise. His main business is now GroupWise - doing
almost everything if only GroupWise is mentioned.
Diethmar currently works as an independent consultant.
In many cases he is the main hub for GroupWise in Austria.
Diethmar holds a degree in Informatics from the Johannes
Kepler University in Linz. His most difficult job is being
the father of two girls (Hannah - 1998 = GroupWise 5.5
and Sophie - 2002 = Prerelease of GroupWise 6.5). His
hobbies are his family, music, GroupWise. |

Joe Bertnick - USA
GWAVA - Director Product Management GWAVA
Mr. Bertnick manages the development of new products for
GWAVA. Mr. Bertnick brings 15 years of networking, security
and software experience to GWAVA. He has extensive experience
in information security, hacker defense and in helping
global organizations develop and implement policies and
technology to secure their corporate infrastructures.
Mr. Bertnick is a perennial speaker at many industry events,
such as Novell's BrainShare, Blackhat, Infosec, MISTI
and others. He specializes in topics focusing on developing
real world solutions to secure corporate information systems. |

Marc Conradty
Chief Technical Officer of Inetra Inc. Germany
As CTO, Marc is responsible for team training and all German speaking support for GWAVA and Inetra customers. Marc specializes in working with Smartblocker for squeezing the last false positive email out of the GWAVA Archive. Marc has been working in the email industry since 1990, and began with MHS from Novell. Marc has been working since then as a consultant in planning, developing, and deploying networks. Marc is consulting IT departments in deploying and fine tuning GroupWise and GWAVA products. Marc's Background is in NetWare, Linux, eDirectory, ZENworks and BorderManager, as well as TCP/IP and Protocol understanding.

Roel van Bueren - the Netherlands
GWAVA - One of the Core Developers of Reveal
Roel van Bueren has been working with GroupWise since
WordPerfect Office 3.1. As a consultant, trainer and author
and co-founder of 'Custom-R-Tools' he likes to push GroupWise
to its limits and explore its boundaries by using 3rd
party solutions and by developing new ones. With Ronald
de Zwart he has written GWAVA's new Reveal product. Currently

Ulrich Neumann - Germany
GWAVA - Redline Lead Developer for GWAVA
Ulrich brings 16 years of Novell development experience
to GWAVA, Inc. Ulrich Neumann is a two-time winner of
the prestigious Novell Developer Excellence Award. This
award is given to a single individual each year in recognition
of their contribution to the Novell development community.
Ulrich won the award in 2001 and again in 2003. Ulrich
has joined GWAVA, the leading GroupWise partner, to begin
developing additional solutions for GroupWise customers
beyond GWAVA's traditional security offering.
Ulrich is also an "open source evangelist" who
pushed open source on NetWare very hard; he has been involved
in PostgreSQL and MySQL development and ported the first
version of Bash to NetWare. On NetWare he has worked a
lot on LibC. He's working with Linux since 1994 and is
involved in the GNOME Project, especially on GNOME-Network
and the Evolution mail client that can connect to GroupWise
now. Ulrich has been Speaker at BrainShare in Europe and
SLC. In 2001 and 2003 he has got the official "Developer
SysOp Excellence Award" from Novell for all his efforts.

Uwe Carsten Krause - Germany
Uwe became a Engineer of Network Technology in 1992 started in the Business in Novell Environments in 1993. Before he was an untrained Admin for the University Netware 2.15 and 3.11 Network. In 1997 he became a CNI. Uwe is currently certified as multiple MCNE and MCNI. Experiences in Notes and Exchange as well as some fundamental knowledge in Windows OS helped him to fulfill several projects in migrating Notes and Exchange to GroupWise. He started to work with GroupWise in the early 1994. In 2000 he wrote an admin guide for GW6.0 in German language. He is a speaker on several Novell congresses in Germany. Vaclav has been working with Novell Inc and WordPerfect Corporation products since 1987 till today, started with NetWare ELS II and WordPerfect 4.2. Vaclav was programmer in the past, working with Fortran, C, C++, lot of assemblers, TurboPascal, lot of scripting languages. Vaclav's today focus is on GroupWise on PDA, OpenOffice-GroupWise integration, remote GroupWise management, optimizing number of MTA and POA within large WAN networks. Gregory Bell is CEO of Advansys, a firm he launched in 1989. Previously he worked at Hewlett-Packard and NEC Information Systems in senior technical roles, training in both the U.S. and Japan. Richard is a Product Marketing Manager for Novell Workgroup Solutions. Based in EMEA (Europe Middle East & Africa), Richard is responsible for working with the EMEA Field Marketing and Sales organizations to make field execution successful. Previously, Richard was the country marketing manager for Novell Sweden. He joined Novell in 1995 and has been acting in marketing roles since.
Prior to his role at Novell, Richard joined WordPerfect Corporation in Sweden in 1989, where he worked on large account development, support, training and events. Richard studied Computer Science at the University of Linköping, and is now working out of the Novell office in Kista, Sweden.

Dirk Giles - USA
Novell - Senior Software Engineer
Dirk Giles joined the GroupWise Engineering team in 1993 after after flying for 8 years in the United States Air Force. His initial projects were to write programmatic test suites and tools for the GroupWise engine; many of which are still in use today. Since then he has been involved with many aspects of GroupWise development, to include replication, address book, and the core engine technologies. He is currently working on the GroupWise Migration Utility for Microsoft Exchange as well as being the development lead for GroupWise Instant Messenger.

Valley. He has more than 20 years of experience in technology sales,
alliance and channel management strategy, operations and training

Communications/Lucent Technologies, BEA Systems and Borland Software.
Steve is responsible for maintaining a successful relationship between
Novell GroupWise and Nokia Enterprise Solutions teams -- with the

Nica Faustino Sales Engineer Manager, Macrovision EMEA
Mr. Faustino has been with InstallShield since December 1997 and has seen the birth and development of technologies like Microsoft Windows Installer, MSI Developer products and the very first versions of what now is the full-featured product FLEXnet AdminStudio. Nica has held many positions at InstallShield/Macrovision, including technical consultant, technical trainer, Sales and Professional Services management roles.

Tim Heywood

Tim has been only been working with GroupWise for the past 10 years or so and as a SysOp spends far too much of his time of his copious spare time in the GroupWise forums. It has been reported that he has been seen walking the streets of Utah in a skirt (kilt) every spring. A regular speaker at BrainShare and UK technical events Tim enjoys practising what he preaches with all of Novell's products.
Tim specialises in GroupWise and Novell Cluster Services while in addition providing directional consultancy on ZENworks. The more traditional NetWare and BorderManager products complete the armoury. In his spare time, Tim acts as the product manager for GWMigrate, a tool that upgrades an Exchange Server to a real mail system, and has been directly involved in the conversion of over 15,000 users from Exchange.
Tim is the CTO for NDS8, a Novell Platinum Partner based in Edinburgh and he works with clients throughout the UK, Europe and the World.

In the past year Martin has been responsible for the strategy and direction for Novell ZENworks - including the acquisition and release of ZENworks Asset Management; the release of ZENworks 7 Suite and the revolutionary ZENworks 7 Linux Management. Prior to this Martin held the role of Product Manager for ZENworks Linux Management and Product Manager responsible for ZENworks for Desktops.

Ian Aitchison
Ian Aitchison is a Product Manager at Touchpaper software, with
over 10 years of experience in the design, development and
implementation of IT Business Management solutions. As manager of
Touchpaper's Novell- Integration product set Ian has presented frequently
and globally to Novell staff and customers on the unique benefits of
combining the two product sets.
Before joining Touchpaper Ian worked for Surrey Police and prior to that
was a licensee and nightclub manager. In his spare time he juggles home
improvement, with spending time with his wife and two young children.
